Organize PDF Pages
Rotate, delete and reorder PDF pages without uploading your file.
Organize PDF Pages — Reorder, rotate (in 90° steps) and delete pages of a PDF, then download the reorganized document. Deleted pages can be restored before applying. All editing happens with pdf-lib in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
What is Organize PDF Pages?
Organize PDF Pages is a free online PDF page organizer that lets you reorder, rotate, and delete pages in a PDF and download the reorganized document. Students, office workers, and anyone cleaning up scanned documents use it to fix page order, turn sideways scans upright, and strip out blank or unwanted pages before sharing. You drop a single PDF, move pages earlier or later, rotate them in 90-degree steps, and remove (or restore) any page, with a live thumbnail preview of every page. Because it runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, there is no upload and no sign-up.
How to use Organize PDF Pages
- Drop a PDF onto the dropzone (or click it to pick a file) — the tool reads the page count and shows a thumbnail of each page.
- Use the left and right chevron buttons on a page card to move that page earlier or later in the order.
- Click the rotate button to turn a page 90° clockwise; click again to cycle through 180°, 270°, and back to 0°.
- Click the trash button to delete a page; the card fades and shows an undo button so you can restore it before applying.
- Click any thumbnail to open a larger lightbox preview if you need to check a page.
- Click the 'Apply & download' button to generate and save the reorganized PDF (the count in the button shows how many pages will be kept).
Examples
Fix a sideways scan
A contract was scanned with two pages rotated 90°. Rotate just those two pages until they are upright, then apply and download — the rest of the document is untouched.
Remove blank pages and reorder
A 12-page report has two blank separator pages and an out-of-order appendix. Delete the blanks, move the appendix pages to the end, then download a clean 10-page PDF (the saved file is named after the source with an '-organized.pdf' suffix).
Restore a page before applying
You delete a page, then change your mind. The faded card stays visible with an undo button, so you restore it before clicking Apply & download — nothing is final until you apply.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my PDF get uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs 100% client-side in your browser using pdf-lib. The file is read locally, edited in memory, and the new PDF is generated on your device — it is never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.
- Can I rotate a page to any angle?
- Rotation works in 90° steps only. Each click of the rotate button advances a page through 90°, 180°, 270°, and back to 0°, which covers every upright/sideways/upside-down orientation.
- Can I delete every page?
- No. At least one page must remain. The Apply & download button stays disabled when no pages are kept, so you cannot export an empty PDF.
- Why won't my PDF open?
- If the file is corrupted or in an unsupported format you'll see a 'Failed to read PDF. The file may be corrupted or unsupported.' message. The tool ignores standard encryption flags when loading, but badly damaged files may still fail to parse.
- Can I organize more than one PDF at once?
- The organizer works on one PDF at a time. Loading a new file replaces the current pages, so finish and download one document before starting another.
