What is Image Watermark?

Image Watermark is a free, browser-based tool that overlays a line of text or a PNG logo onto your images to label, brand, or protect them. Photographers stamp proofs, designers add a copyright line or logo, and teams batch-mark screenshots before sharing. Choose text mode — with font family, bold and italic, color and opacity — or logo mode to composite an uploaded PNG. Place the mark at any of nine anchors with a custom X/Y offset, rotate it to any angle, or switch on a tiled diagonal pattern that repeats across the whole picture to deter cropping. Drop several images at once and download every watermarked result as a ZIP. Because compositing runs on the Canvas API, results update automatically with no sign-up and no upload.

How to use Image Watermark

1. Drop one or many images (PNG, JPG, WebP, or any format your browser can read) onto the dropzone. Watermarking runs automatically.
2. Pick the watermark type: Text, or Logo to drop a PNG that gets composited onto every image.
3. For text, type your line and open Settings to set font, bold/italic, color, size and opacity.
4. Choose one of nine positions and fine-tune with the X/Y offset and rotation angle, or turn on Tile to repeat the mark diagonally across the whole image.
5. Select PNG or JPEG (with a quality slider for JPEG), then download each result or grab them all as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use an image or logo as the watermark?

Yes. Switch to Logo mode and drop a PNG (transparent logos work best). It is scaled by the size slider and composited onto each image; you can also rotate it, offset it, or tile it just like the text watermark.

How do the tiled and diagonal patterns work?

Turn on Tile to repeat the watermark across the entire image in a grid, and set a rotation angle (for example -30 degrees) to make it diagonal. Tile spacing controls the gap between repeats, which makes the mark much harder to crop out.

Can I watermark many images at once?

Yes. Drop or select multiple images and the same settings are applied to all of them. Download each result individually, or click Download ZIP to get the whole batch in one archive.

Where can I place the watermark and can I nudge it?

Pick from nine anchor positions — the four corners, four edge midpoints, and the center — then use the X and Y offset fields to nudge it by exact pixels, plus a rotation angle to tilt it.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Both text and logo watermarks are composited 100% client-side in your browser with the Canvas API. Your images and logo are never uploaded, sent to our servers, or shared, so private pictures stay on your device.
